The school retains 100% ownership of all student, parent, and staff records. Unite Class functions strictly as a data processor. We will never sell, trade, or share your data with third parties for marketing or advertising purposes.
2. Storage and Hosting inside India
All data, databases, and application files are securely stored on cloud servers physically located in India. This ensures full compliance with local regulatory guidelines and keeps school information under Indian jurisdiction.
3. Encryption & Security Standards
We secure your platform using industry-standard measures:
- Encryption: Data is encrypted using AES-256 both in transit (via SSL/TLS) and at rest.
- Backups: Automated backups are taken twice daily to prevent data loss.
- Role-Based Access: Only authorized school staff can access administrator dashboards. Parents, teachers, and students see only their own individual dashboards.
4. Account Control & Exports
Should a school choose to discontinue using Unite Class, the administrator has the right to export all historical data (including marks, attendance records, notices, and fee records) in standard formats at any time.
